  • Painting buildings, residences, or automobiles.
  • Prior to painting, clean the surfaces.
  • Maintaining job-related technical equipment and ensuring that it is in functioning order.
  • Having a diverse set of painting equipment, such as thin and thick brushes, airbrushes, and rollers.
  • Chemical waste disposal in a safe manner.
  • Making certain that stringent safety standards are met.
  • Depending on the nature of the surface, several painting techniques are used.
  • Using protective equipment such as painting goggles.
  • The amount of paint to be used and the texture of the paint are measured using viscosity cups and thickness gauges.
  • Using masking tape or a chemical rinse, remove old paint surfaces.
  • Touch-ups and painting minor items
  • Providing adequate ventilation once the paint has been applied.
  • Coating metal with electroplating equipment.
  • Metallic surface polishing


Requirements

  • GED or high school diploma.
  • Painting experience on a range of surfaces.
  • Knowledge of technological machinery.
  • Physical stamina required to operate machinery.
  • Attention to detail and diligence
  • Dexterity and hand-eye coordination are exceptional.
  • Excellent organizing abilities.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
