Architectural Designer / AutoCAD Specialist

We are seeking two creative and detail-oriented Architectural Designers / AutoCAD Specialists to join our team in Vancouver. Reporting to the Design Manager, you will collaborate with Sales Consultants and Clients to create space planning test fits, precise construction documentation, tailored renovation designs, and innovative solutions for our valued dental clinic clientele.  These positions will be based out of our North Vancouver office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Sales Consultants, Equipment Specialists, Design Team members and manufacturing partners on construction documentation, including plans, elevations, sections, and details.
• Assess site suitability and create test fit plans.
• Design architectural plans that align with client preferences and budgets.
• Meet with customers and Sales Consultants to understand and address design needs.
• Document and record all structural design information.
• Prepare and present design concepts and job proposals to clients.
• Maintain professional knowledge by attending workshops and staying updated on industry practices.
• Periodically travel for training and client site visits as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma in Architectural Technology with a focus on technical drawing production.
• 3+ years of experience in a design role.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit Software, and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Thorough understanding of provincial building codes.
• Creativity with a passion for tailored and innovative design solutions.
• Strong organizational and presentation skills.

Requirements:

• Must have access to a vehicle and hold a valid Canadian driver’s license.

What’s In It for You?
We are proud to offer a salary in the range of $60,000 – $65,000 per year.  The actual salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience and internal equity. This position also offers extensive benefits coverage and the opportunity to be part of a dynamic and successful team!
