Are you dedicated to providing exceptional customer service? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments? Deer Park Food Store in Red Deer presents the perfect opportunity for you! We're currently looking for 3 casual Bakery Clerks to join our dynamic team.

Position: Bakery Clerk

Casual:Β less than 24 hours per week.

Availability: Weekdays and weekends- mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Package and label bakery products for sale
  • Perform tasks such as slicing bread, frying donuts, utilizing ovens
  • Assist in production as directed by bakers
  • Stock shelves and pull freezer products as needed
  • Assist in setting up products for the following day
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with the ability to work independently
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; some heavy lifting is required
  • Prior experience in a bakery setting is an asset; however, training is available
  • Applicants must be over 14 years old. (Employment Standards mandates a permit to employ a person aged 14 or under, thus disclosure is required.)
