Principal Responsibilities

My Guest
  • Providing guest service and serving drinks. 
  • Maintain a neat and tidy work area at all times.
  • Answer any guest questions or direct them to someone that can assist them. Ensure complete guest satisfaction.
  • Should always conduct him/himself with a pleasant and helpful attitude towards guest, co-workers and managers.

My Product

  • Stock bar as per Banquet Event Order.
  • Follow Chelsea hotels recipes and measures.
  • Prepare inventory sheets and wines for functions.
  • Ensure return liquor is stored away.
  • Merry all partial bottles at the end of the shift.
  • Take all empty bottles down to the loading dock according to the recycling standard.
  • Stocking all garnishes required for service.
  • Conducting inventory of product at end of shift/function.
  • Observe smart serve and responsible service of alcohol all times.

My Colleage 

  • Open communication with Managers to report challenges or issues.
  • Review function sheet with manager.
  • Inform manager of any shortage of stock.

My Chelsea

  • Complies with Hotel policies and procedures.
  • Reports for duty on time and follow Chelsea grooming policyNametag must be visible at all times.
  • Adhere to and comply with all safety regulations when handling hazardous materials according to MSDS.
  • Perform other task as assigned by Management

Academic and Working Qualifications
Working Experience
-Previous bartending experience.
-Previous Guest Service experience.
 

Knowledge Education
-Completion of Smart Serve.


Physical Requirements
-Flexible availability.
-Lifting, moving, and carrying all types of beverages including cases of beer and wine,
canisters of pop mix and bottles of alcohol, juice etc. Distance can be substantial, with
a maximum weight of 15kg.
-Lifting, carrying and replenishing ice throughout the shift. Distance can be substantial,
with a maximum weight of 13kg.
-Lifting, carrying and replenishing  glassware throughout the night. Distance can be
substantial, with a maximum weight of 10kg.
-Pushing portable bar. Distance can be substantial, push weight required is unknown.
