This is a hybrid position with a mix of in-office and remote work. Work arrangements will be discussed with hiring managers per departmental guidelines.

We're looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Your passion for providing an exceptional experience to both candidates and hiring managers will be your greatest asset.

As the Talent Acquisition Coordinator, you'll report to the Manager of Talent Acquisition. You'll play a vital role in providing support to Senior Talent Acquisition Specialists.  Your central role in the hiring process involves working directly with both internal and external candidates to coordinate interviews and guide them through the various stages of the recruitment process. This role involves close collaboration with various departments across CBC/Radio-Canada to ensure a seamless and positive experience for everyone involved.  If you love the satisfaction of a job well done and want to play a crucial, behind-the-scenes role in shaping our organization, we want to hear from you!

Your key responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the talent acquisition process:  Coordinate certain logistics of the selection and hiring process, including scheduling interviews, testing and background checks 

  • Coordinate job postings: Help format and publish job postings on internal and external platforms, including social media

  • Support candidate communication: Act as a key contact for candidates, following up with them throughout the process

  • Manage documentation: Ensure all necessary approvals are secured before the process begins and assist with offer letter logistics 

  • Handle administrative tasks: Provide general administrative support to the Talent Acquisition team

  • Participate in talent acquisition projects and continuous improvement initiatives

We are looking for a candidate with the following:

  • Relevant experience as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator or in a similar comparable role 

  • Experience in a corporate environment, staffing agency and in a  unionized environment

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • An individual with a keen eye for detail who ensures the seamless execution of diverse activities

  • Skilled at adhering to process and policy

  • Expert with Excel, Word, Google Slide Presentations and Google Suite 

  • Knowledge working with an applicant tracking system (Workday an asset).

  • Must be fluent in English and French (both spoken and written)
