Position Overview: 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Administrator to support the daily operations of the HR department in the South Island region. This role will focus on ensuring smooth execution of HR processes, supporting both employees and leadership, and maintaining alignment with organizational values and goals. The successful candidate will work collaboratively within the HR team, with support and guidance available as needed. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Recruitment & Onboarding 
  • HR Administration 
  • HRIS Communication & Documentation Management  
  • Employee Support & Relations 
  • Compliance & Process Improvement 
  • Perform other related duties as required or assigned to support overall HR operations. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field is an asset 
  • Minimum 1 year experience in an HR administrative or coordinator role. 
  • Strong organizational and communication skills. 
  • Knowledgeable with HRIS platforms and proficiency in using MS Office Suite. 
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. 
  • Knowledge of BC employment legislation, including the BC Employment Standards Act, and workplace compliance is an asset.
