THE OPPORTUNITY

 

We are currently inviting qualified candidates with 0 to 2 years of conveyancing experience to join the Real Estate team in our Edmonton office. This opportunity will support the Firm’s Conveyancing Team, on a variety of Real Estate matters.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, well-developed interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, a positive and professional attitude, and superb attention to detail skills.

This position is a full-time position.

Hours of work are 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Opening files and preparing documents
  • Perform various clerical duties, such as data entry, typing and filing
  • Coordinate and track deliveries of documents
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced team, meeting tight deadlines
  • Provide administrative assistance to other Legal Assistants in the firm and communicate regarding coordination of requests
  • Others duties as assigned

  • Must have knowledge in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams

  • Net Documents knowledge an asset
  • LawyerDoneDeal and Unity knowledge an asset

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Be a graduate of an accredited legal assistant program
  • 1 to 2 years of real estate and/or conveyancing experience preferred
