We are seeking an experienced and creative Lead Product Designer to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for digital product design, a knack for leading teams, and a commitment to excellence in client delivery. This position collaborates closely with clients, Digital Consultants, Project Managers, and Senior Software Engineers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design leadership: Act as the primary expert in product design, staying ahead of industry trends and technological advancements.Β 
  • Capability development: Drive the evolution of our product design capabilities, aligning with broader organizational objectives.
  • Team development: Identify and address training needs, fostering professional growth within the design team. Work with HR in recruitment efforts to build a proficient team of designers.
  • Project oversight: Oversee the work of designers and collaborate with Project Managers and other stakeholders to ensure the quality and timely delivery of design projects.Β 
  • Team management: Lead, guide, and inspire a team of design experts, setting objectives and directing project-specific efforts. Conduct performance reviews and cultivate a user-centric design culture.
  • Business development: Participate in business development activities, providing design expertise in client meetings and proposal development.
  • Innovation: Champion new technologies and methodologies in product design, showcasing practical improvements. Encourage a culture of innovation, adaptability, and continuous learning within the team.
  • Collaboration: Facilitate the exchange of ideas and best practices in product design across the organization. Promote learning in related technologies and disciplines among team members.

Must have qualifications
  • Educational Foundation: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Visual Communications, or closely related fields.
  • Design Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital product design, showcasing expertise in user-centric design, UX/UI principles, and graphic design.
  • Leadership Experience: At least 2 years of experience leading and managing a design team, demonstrating effective team guidance, mentorship, and leading large design initiatives.
  • Technical Mastery: High proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, with a solid understanding of design toolsets.
  • Client Engagement Experience: Proven track record in client-facing roles, adept at understanding and fulfilling client needs and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Portfolio Displaying Diversity and Complexity: A comprehensive portfolio that exhibits a wide range of design projects, highlighting skills in complex system design, mobile applications, and responsive web design.
  • Exceptional Communication Ability: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, vital for articulating design concepts and making presentations.
  • User Research Expertise: Skills in conducting user research, usability testing, and interpreting user data to inform design decisions.

Nice to have qualifications
  • Advanced Education or Certification: Master's degree or specialized certifications in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related fields.
  • Expanded Design Tool Knowledge: Familiarity with additional design software (e.g., Sketch, InVision, Axure), and skills in areas like motion graphics or 3D design.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration Skills: Basic understanding of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to better collaborate with engineering teams.
  • Project Management Acumen: Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira or Asana.
  • Business Strategy Insight: Understanding of business principles and experience in employing design thinking for strategic initiatives.
