Your Impact
We are seeking a passionate and motivated individual to join our global finance team. You will be instrumental in driving client relationships, building strong, value-add bonds with the client, external vendors and internal stakeholders from the executive leadership team on down. You will regularly oversee multiple, client-focused projects across an integrated spectrum and support client services, production, PR/influencer, finance and global business operations leadership teams with strategic initiatives.

What you will be doing

    • Budget Management & Reporting:  
    • Oversee the tracking, reconciliation, and management of client budgets throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Monitor and track the pacing of ongoing projects, ensuring media and production expenditures align with approved scopes and addressing adjustments when scope changes occur.
    • Report findings to the finance team, offering strategic insights and improvement recommendations.
    • Assist the finance team in forecasting client budgets by providing accurate and timely data on project costs.

    • Financial Coordination and Administration:
    • Gather client approvals for production budgets, ensuring proper documentation and system updates.
    • Partner with producers to track costs associated with vendors, troubleshoot misallocated expenses, and propose actionable solutions.
    • Support the billing team by preparing detailed backups aligned with client-specific requirements.
    • Provide clear and accurate instructions to Accounts Payable (AP) on vendor invoice coding.
    • Collaborate with producers and other stakeholders to ensure timely approval processes and maintain accurate financial records.

    • Stakeholder Collaboration: 
    • Act as a key liaison between clients, producers, project managers, and senior leadership to maintain alignment on financial objectives.
    • Foster efficient communication, resolve financial discrepancies, and identify opportunities for optimizing resource allocation.
    • Partner with client-facing teams to ensure financial strategies align with broader business goals.

    • Problem-Solving and Process Optimization:
    • Troubleshoot discrepancies in cost allocation and ensure resolution in a timely manner.
    • Continuously look for ways to improve processes, streamline financial workflows, and enhance reporting accuracy.

Who you are

    • Minimum of 7 years of experience in client finance operations within an advertising agency, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • A proven track record in managing internal stakeholders and clients at all levels of seniority.
    • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
    • Proficiency in financial & marketing software and tools.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
