Key Responsibilities:

• Provide a welcoming and professional first point of contact for patients
• Manage appointment scheduling, phone inquiries, and patient check-ins
• Maintain and update electronic medical records
• Assist with billing, insurance claims, and administrative paperwork
• Ensure accurate data entry and record-keeping in compliance with office protocols
• Support the medical team with general office administration and workflow coordination

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of experience in a medical or dental office setting
• MOA/Unit Clerk certificate a strong asset
• Intermediate MS Office experience
• Experience with NetCare, Connect Care, HealthQuest or Epic software (an asset)
• AHC billing/reconciliation experience
• Strong communication skills and experience handling a busy phone system
• Knowledge of medical terminology to assist with patient documentation
• Excellent organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
