Dawson International Truck Centres Truck Centres is looking for a safety conscience, team-oriented Parts Driver who will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and timely transportation of parts.

In this role you will be a valued member of Dawson International Truck Centres, working in a permanent, full-time position of Parts Driver, reporting to the Branch Manager. This role is responsible for promptly assisting the needs of our customers and technicians in delivering required parts and supplies. Your base location will be Kamloops, BC and may require some travel throughout our great province.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

• Provide excellent customer service by making prompt and courteous deliveries of customer orders
• Perform general warehouse duties and customer assistance as needed
• Load truck accurately and safely for customer deliveries
• Unload truck as needed at customer and/or branch locations
• Fill customer orders by retrieving material from the warehouse and other locations
• Check in and put away material, verifying quantities and quality of received material
• Assist in maintaining appearance of branch as needed
• Continuously update product knowledge
• Treat external and internal customers and associates with courtesy and respect
• Performs all job responsibilities in a safe, timely and efficient manner

WHAT YOU BRING

• Delivery experience preferred
• Valid minimum Class 5 Drivers license
• Possess a clean driver abstract
• Professional and friendly demeanor
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Detail oriented and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
