Fuse Advisors is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for an experienced mining professional with 7–15 years of engineering experience across various phases of the mining lifecycle. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to contribute to both field and office-based project execution.
This is a remote position open to candidates located anywhere in Canada. Those who enjoy coming into the Vancouver office are welcome to do so.
Contribute to the planning and execution of technical and engineering aspects of mining projects.
Support project managers in scoping, scheduling, budgeting, and technical delivery.
Analyze engineering data and prepare high-quality technical reports, drawings, and models.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including geologists, environmental scientists, and project managers.
Provide engineering insight for trade-off studies, feasibility assessments, and operational optimization.
Interface with clients and stakeholders to ensure engineering deliverables align with project goals.
Assist in managing project risks, technical challenges, and engineering design decisions.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, software tools, and best practices.
Bachelor’s degree in Mining, Metallurgical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering or related field (required).
7–15 years of progressive mining, metallurgical, mechanical, and/or civil engineering experience within the mining industry.
Strong technical background with experience in mine design, scheduling, and/or operations support.
NIce to have: Familiarity with mining software (e.g., Deswik, MinePlan, Surpac, Whittle, or similar tools).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative project team.
