What are your contributions to the team?

•  Manage projects and engineering activities related to aircraft pre-production from aircraft specking phase to aircraft certification for completion platforms.
•  Manage cross-functional teams in the establishment of scope, schedule and budget of projects;
•  Lead and coordinate Engineering Customer Change planning, ensuring completeness and harmonization with stakeholders;
•  Work closely with technical experts, business leaders, suppliers, and customer representatives to ensure adherence and compliance of projects scope, schedule, and budget
•  Manage priorities between projects and activities, complete strategic schedule analysis, and communicate and harmonize these priorities;
•  Identify and report on risks and lead risk mitigation planning and execution;
•  Prepare and provide visibility of budget requirement / resource allocation;
•  Prepare and present visibility reports for the various levels of the organization;

How to thrive in this role?

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.  PMI certification is an asset
  • You have a minimum of 10 years of experience with multidisciplinary team in the Aerospace industry
  • You have experience in project management as well as knowledge of aircraft development cycle.
  • You are an organized person with leadership skills and able to work with a minimum of supervision.
  • You have logical and flexible mindsets, show initiatives and demonstrate overview/detailed approaches.
  • You are bilingual; you have strong oral and communication skills ability to work well in a multi-disciplinary team environment
  • Some activities will require work outside of normal business hours
