In CNS P&E Security Engineering team big data, machine learning, Cyber Security and SaaS are at the heart of our portfolio. We help create the secure, ultra-connected world in which we live and develop innovative solutions for 5G, autonomous network, health services, public safety, and smart utilities. We are looking for a Software Developer to join our dynamic team of talented professionals to create an innovative, industry-leading, automated security offering, and to define the best security products to protect the network infrastructure from cyber-attacks You will be part of an agile team responsible for the specification, design, development, and testing of the product. 
 



Responsibilities
  • Develop new micro services as shared components of the Netguard security products suite
  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use
  • Optimise application for maximum speed and scalability
  • Understand and apply core ML concepts or have experience with ML development
  • Develop unit to end to end tests.
     


Qualifications

You Have:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development, with a strong track record in designing and building microservices and containerized applications
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
  • Solid understanding of security best practices, including IAM, RBAC, certificate management, and secrets handling
  • Proficiency in Java, Go, JavaScript, REST APIs, and SQL, along with front-end development using ReactJS
  • Experience with unit testing and CI/CD pipelines
  • Familiarity with machine learning concepts or hands-on experience in ML development
  • Experience working with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Certification in Security or Ethical Hacking is required

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; a degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Electrical Engineering) is preferred.
  • Master’s degree is a plus.
