Position Overview

We are looking for a .NET Software Developer with strength in C# programming to join our team. The ideal candidate will have the capability to work full-stack and help support our Angular based web application as well. The candidate should also possess a strong desire to work on mission critical applications for large global customers. Any familiarity with developing media (A/V) software would be a significant asset.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy high performing C# code on the back end, ensuring high performance, scalability, and usability
• Develop, test, and deploy front end code using JavaScript and Angular as needed
• Develop, test, and deploy RESTful APIs and WebSocket communications to integrate into UI components
• Work in an Agile environment, contribute to sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives as well as providing and receiving feedback on pull requests

Requirements

• Strong knowledge writing object-oriented code with SOLID principles using .NET 8.0; specifically, C#
• Experience with at least one relational database like MySQL or SQL Server
• Experience designing good REST APIs
• Experience with Git for source control management
• Must have a desire and drive to learn new technologies and embrace the concepts of continuous improvement
• Must have a passion for creating and delivering software that is both high quality and highly innovative
• Must have excellent programming, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills (English)

• Experience with SignalR would be an asset
• Experience with Entity Framework would be an asset

• Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript in a modern framework like Angular or React would be an asset
