About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive fuel sales growth across Ontario. Based in Toronto, this role will focus on developing new business opportunities, maintaining strong client relationships, and expanding market share within the fuel industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities for fuel sales across Ontario.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, including commercial, industrial, and transportation sector customers.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to maximize profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to develop targeted sales strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including logistics and operations, to ensure timely and efficient fuel delivery.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and revenue growth objectives.
- Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to senior management.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of sales or business development experience, preferably in the fuel, energy, or transportation industry.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
Skills:
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
Other Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within Ontario.
- Knowledge of fuel pricing structures, logistics, and regulatory requirements is an asset.
