About Stamped & The Role
Stamped was one of the first reviews apps in the Shopify App Store back when it launched in 2016. Since then, the company was acquired by Tiny, has launched loyalty and lifecycle marketing products and has grown to support tens of thousands of merchants.
We’ve always won because we’re a good platform at a great price. We offer hands-on support to get programs up and running and partner with merchants to optimize their programs over time. Our customers range from brand new mom and pop shops to $500M/year GMV brands you’re familiar with, like Olipop, Osea, Kizik, Graza, Georgiemane, Dr. Squatch, etc.
Stamped is now at an inflection point. We know who we’ve been and why we’ve won but we need to reinvent ourselves to get to the next stage of growth. It’s our vision to become the default buying experience customers expect from the brands they love. This is obviously a big goal and will require a lot of focus.
This means focus in terms of which part of the market we serve. It also means focus on the products we build and the problems we solve for those customers. We need creative vision, operational focus, internally, to deliver the best possible merchant experiences.
As Director of Marketing, you’ll own both strategy and execution across brand, content, digital, and demand gen. You’ll develop compelling messaging, design campaigns that attract and convert our ideal customers, and ensure marketing is tightly aligned with sales and product. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll manage a small team of 2 full time team members and additional contractors, balance creative storytelling with data-driven decision making, and hold accountability for pipeline, ROI, and market impact.
When done well, this role elevates our brand presence, generates predictable demand, and creates a marketing organization that’s seen as a growth driver for the business.

Compensation:
We offer a starting base salary of $135,000.00 — $190,000.00 CAD depending on experience.
We take a holistic approach to compensation at Stamped. Total compensation includes Salary, benefits, RRSP, ESPP, an annual education allowance and other perks.
