POSITION SUMMARY
The Aboriginal Health Advocate works closely with northern St’át’imc communities, Interior Health, the Ministry of Health, to achieve the recommendations from the In Plain Sight Report, the Truth and
Reconciliation Calls to Action, and the goals outlined in the Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act (DRIPA) Action Plan.
The Advocate aligns with Health Quality BC philosophies that support system-wide leadership to improve the quality of care provided by the Interior Health (IH) and other healthcare providers.
QUALIFICATIONS
SALARY: $31/ hr ($58,240 annual) to $35/ hour ($63,700 annual) plus benefits dependent on education and experience
