Downtown Toronto

4 Weeks Holidays to Start! 

45k + Bonus!

Our client, a boutique corporate securities law firm located in the core of downtown Toronto is adding to its team!

They are in need of a bright and energetic junior Legal Assistant with some exposure to a corporate or securities law practice.  This is a full time permanent role! 

Responsibilities would include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing ongoing legal clerical and administrative support including:
    • Document management (conversion, combining, editing, formatting, etc.)
    • Assist with submission of TSX, TSXV, OSC, SEDAR filings
    • Tracking, categorizing, following up with parties re: corporate or transactional materials
    • Management and dissemination of incoming post, emails, etc.
    • Preparation of letters, couriers, etc.
    • General office organizational tasks

In addition the successful candidate will have:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong time-management and organizational skills and the ability to balance competing priorities
  • Flexibility to meet daily needs of the firm
  • Proficiency with up to date versions of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience working in fast paced clerical/administrative role.
  • An energetic, enthusiastic and professional manner.

This client will consider a university graduate with some office experience positive and professional attitude and excellent technical skills.
