The Medical Office Assistant (Remote) plays a key role in supporting day-to-day administrative operations within the program. This position is responsible for providing high-quality clerical and administrative support, maintaining accurate data, and ensuring efficient communication between patients, healthcare providers, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide cross-functional administrative support, including data processing, report preparation, meeting coordination, and general office management.
- Manage inbound communications (calls, emails, faxes) promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate and complete records in electronic medical record (EMR) and database systems.
- Prepare and distribute program documents and materials as needed.
- Support field and clinical staff with administrative and documentation needs.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency through regular review and updates.
- Process and report Adverse Events/Serious Adverse Events (AE/SAE) in compliance with established SOPs.
- Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a medical office or patient support program is a strong asset.
- Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, electronic databases, and phone systems.
- Ability to multitask and adapt effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- A proactive team player who can also work independently with minimal supervision.
