The Non-bulk Dispatcher will manage scheduling, drivers and routing of the non-bulk distribution team in the Eastern region. This position will report directly to the Dispatch Supervisor.

The individual is responsible for optimizing the distribution efficiency while minimizing costs and ensuring excellent service to internal and external customers while respecting transportation of dangerous goods, MOT & DOT regulations.

As a Non-Bulk Dispatcher, you will assist the Dispatch Supervisor and your main responsibilities will include:

  • Analyzing the customer demand and ensuring accuracy of the distribution plan which details customer needs, product and equipment availability, geographical position and delivery optimization using logistics KPI's
  • Reviewing trucks utilization according to their maximal capacity
  • Analyzing customer trends and recommending supply mode based on various logistics aspects: consumption, usage patterns, location, etc. 
  • Maintaining the master data accuracy in the system
  • Ensuring a follow-up of the activity: Validating and confirming the drivers’ operations (customer number, truck and trailer identification numbers, tank level, delivered product, mileage, driver’s name, etc.) and reviewing the performance of trips and taking actions to correct and improve efficiency
  • Creating daily routes for all Ontario and Eastern Region locations 
  • Reviewing the delivery routes and clusters on a regular basis in order to optimize the distribution network.
  • Identifying non-optimal tanks and works directly with sales to upgrade
  • Safety: Knowing, respecting and promoting a safety culture at the office and Distribution Centre. Attending safety meetings. Promoting a safe working environment
