Job Description

Our client requires the services of an experienced Oracle Forms developer to assist in the continual changes and ongoing maintenance of the Oracle forms, and reports. In addition there is a constant request from the business for more reporting, more data validation, more edits (business rules governing schedules and line items) and these require both skills and experience from this particular resource.

Qualifications

Responsibilities include:

-Diploma in computer science or a related discipline from a recognized post-secondary institution
-Experience with development, enhancement and maintenance of various large application
-Experience with coaching the resources
-Experience with creating test data, creating test cases and test plan for manual testing or automation testing
-Experience in implementing new software, and patching existing software version
-Experience developing with Oracle Forms
-Experience developing with Oracle Reports
-Experience with Oracle Database administrator tasks
-Experience with various database tools like Toad, SQL Developer
-Experience developing with SQL,PL/SQL
-Experience with Microsoft technology such as VB, VB.net
-Experience with OS- Red hat Linux/Unix
-Experience with script Language Java script, VB Script

Desirables:

-Experience in providing technical support for production application in various languages such as oracle, Microsoft
-Experience in development, testing and implementation with enterprise projects/applications
-Experience with developing Oracle Discoverer reports
-Experience using batch job, workflow schedule and Autosys creating/scheduling jobs
-Experience using a version controlling tool (Tortoise SVN and Version Manager)
-Proficient Expertise with Ticket tracking system
-Experience with SQL loader
-Experience with a Work Management System and work desk system
-Experience with E-Business applications integrated with other modules
-Experience with creating Requirement catalogue and function specification document, Entity Relationship Diagram as per CMM level 5 for enterprise application
-Experience integrating Oracle procedures and functions with .NET or Java applications
-Experience with share point, workflow system
-Experience in estimating application development effort and planning at a detailed level
-Experience in analysis and testing for new version of Forms/Reports, Oracle Discover, VMWare, JRE and web browsers.
-Experience in preparing migration documents and handovers for Release
-Experience in follow up with oracle for technical issues as well as new upcoming changes for existing products
