Role Overview:
We're looking for a self-driven Sales Account Manager to lead business development across the North American energy sector. This role is ideal for someone with experience selling electrical equipment who thrives in a fast-moving environment and enjoys owning their sales pipeline from prospecting to close.
Key Responsibilities:
● Build and execute sales strategies to grow market share
● Manage and expand client relationships through proactive communication
● Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research and outreach
● Participate in trade shows and face-to-face client meetings
● Negotiate pricing and contract terms to close deals
● Track sales activities and maintain accurate CRM records
● Stay informed on industry trends and competitor offerings
Qualifications:
Required:
● 3–5 years of B2B sales experience in the electrical equipment or energy sector
● Strong understanding of transformer products or power distribution systems
● Ability to travel throughout Canada and the U.S.
● Proven ability to manage the full sales cycle independently
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred:
● Background in engineering, business, or related field
● Experience selling high-voltage or substation products
● Familiarity with energy infrastructure procurement cycles
