Our client, a leading provider of office technology, is in need of a Territory Sales Representative intent on forging relationships with local businesses with the goal of helping them fulfill their office needs. This hunter-type role will be responsible for growing the prescribed territory in and around Prince George, based in a home office setting. A comprehensive training program will get you started, and ongoing support will help to ensure you succeed. All you need to do is bring your smarts and maturity to handle working independently while achieving all your prescribed benchmarks.
Your Specific duties:
· Based in Prince George, this role will be focused on business development and relationship building
· A great deal of training and shadowing are provided at first, with the goal of being able to represent the company as an ‘industry expert’ in the field
· Developing and securing new accounts
· Maintaining close customer contact through regular communication and explore new opportunities
· Working closely with the Sales Manager to establish and achieve sales targets
Your skills and track record:
· Ideally from a similar sales background, working independently from a remote or home office
· You are a motivated go-getter who learns quickly and adapts easily to new environments
· You are an outgoing individual, with a high "EQ"
· You have 1-3years in direct outbound sales in a specific territory
· Strong computer skills working with Excel and Word
