Role Requirements
Previous experience working with software solutions and promoting its quality, ideally in an Agile environment
Basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycles (SDLCs)
Verbal and written communication skills; especially when verbally communicating and writing defects in a language that various audiences of different backgrounds can understand
Troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
Strong attention to detail
Can work independently and collaborate well with other team members remotely
Effectively able to work in a faced paced environment
Documentation writing skills
Comfortable taking quality ownership and contributing to preventing problems
Role Responsibilities
Regularly create and update test scenarios/cases
Review software requirements & designs to identify user flow gaps and opportunities for software quality improvement
Identify and clearly report on defects and unintentional software behaviour
Perform manual testing for our web and mobile applications
Perform isolation testing and conduct root cause analysis for our web and mobile applications as needed
Effectively and efficiently keep up with the testing workload to have testing activities complete in time for releases
Employ various testing techniques when needed (API, performance, accessibility, localization testing)
Experience with test automation is an asset but not required for this manual testing role
