Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and talented Vulnerability Management Engineer to join a fast-paced, dynamic and challenging environment.


The ideal candidate must demonstrate conceptual understanding of vulnerability and the ability to work in a global team environment. S/he should have a natural curiosity and initiate interest to focus on Platform vulnerability review program which uses iDefense and endow into integrated Archer Platform


As the Vulnerability Management Engineer, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Regular evaluation of new vulnerabilities discerned by the third party contributors

  • Compute, Determine and effectuate risk assessments on assets

  • Preponderance vulnerabilities discovered along with restoration timeline(s)

  • Condign and accrue notifications with SMEs of vulnerabilities within the domain

  • Abet to enhance the overall efficacy of the platform assessment and feedback process

  • Proffer reporting, explore and sequel

  • Assess and compute the hebdomadal vulnerability scans of the organization’s external infrastructure

  • Discourse with global teams and perpetuate proficiency of the threat landscape

  • Render vulnerability perusal and generate the statement for management


This is a full-time, direct employment in Montreal, Quebec. Salary is open based on experience & qualifications.


Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of Vulnerability management experience in IT security Background is preferred

  • Experienced as a Programmer or a Developer is a plus

  • Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.


Skills & Experiences:

Must possess strong conceptual knowledge and demonstrate in-depth understanding of the following:

  • Expertized in vulnerability assessments

  • Skilled in application/system/network vulnerabilities

  • Acquaintance in patch management and Microsoft Patch tuesday

  • Strong understanding of operating system

  • Mastery in vulnerability scoring systems (CVSS/CMSS)

  • Proficiency in assessing, rating severities on self-identified and vendor preconized vulnerabilities.

  • Manipulate Infrastructure issues and Archit


Interpersonal Skills:

  • Must be able to demonstrate troubleshooting skills.

  • Good knowledge in IT security

  • Strong presentation and written skills.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Independent problem-solving, highly motivated and self-directing.

  • Should be self-driven and flexible
